今日翻譯打卡第16天，完成Unit 10補(bǔ)充練習(xí)里的六個翻譯句子，雖然句子結(jié)構(gòu)不難，但注意翻譯語言的地道性。
1.她在武漢的商場一看見那條裙子就喜歡上了。
一般譯法：She liked the dress the moment she saw it in a market in Wuhan.
優(yōu)質(zhì)譯法：She took to the fancy dress the first moment she saw it at the shopping mall in Wuhan.
技巧點(diǎn)撥：注意“喜歡上”用take to更地道，在《養(yǎng)花》一文的翻譯中出現(xiàn)過，take to 表示“喜歡，開始從事，習(xí)慣于”。此處的“商場”理解為“購物廣場”，故譯為shopping mall更合適。
補(bǔ)充：注意"一...就..."的英文表達(dá)，可以用the moment / as soon as / no sooner... than / hardly ... when.
2.他們喜歡每年春天櫻花盛開時到磨山風(fēng)景區(qū)去玩。
一般譯法：They like to visit the Moshan Scenery District when the cherry blossoms are blooming.
優(yōu)質(zhì)譯法：They have taken to visiting Moshan Scenic Spot every spring when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.
技巧點(diǎn)撥：注意take to doing sth.表示“喜歡上做某事”，be in full bloom表示花兒“盛放”。
3.我不知道他是什么時候迷上麻將的。在我看來，打麻將純粹是浪費(fèi)時間。
一般譯法：I don’t know when he took to playing Majiang, which is totally a waste of time in my opinion.
優(yōu)質(zhì)譯法：I’m wondering when he has taken to playing Mahjong, which, I think, is a sheer waste of time.
4.喜歡不懂裝懂的人遲早會鬧笑話的。
一般譯法：Those who don’t know but pretend to know something will end up with making jokes.
優(yōu)質(zhì)譯法：Those who take to pretending to know what they actually don’t know would sooner of later make a fool of themselves.
技巧點(diǎn)撥：注意“鬧笑話”的譯法make a fool of oneself.
5.我認(rèn)為世間最可貴的就是“今”，最易喪失的也是“今”。因?yàn)樗钊菀讍适?/b>，所以更覺得它寶貴。
一般譯法：I think the most precious thing in the world is “today” which is also the easiest to lose. Because it is easy to lose, people will find it more precious.
優(yōu)質(zhì)譯法：Of all things in the world, I think, the present is the most precious, and also the most apt to slip through our fingers. We, therefore, treasure it all the more because of its transience.
技巧點(diǎn)撥：注意“容易喪失”可以用兩個表達(dá)be apt to slip through one’s fingers 或者transience，其中slip through 表示“悄悄溜過”，十分形象，transience 是名詞，表示“短暫，無?！保瑢?yīng)的形容詞是transient.
6.It is a glorious thing to be indifferent to suffering, but only to one’s own suffering.
優(yōu)質(zhì)譯法：漠視苦難，很榮耀，但只有漠視自己的苦難時才是如此。
技巧點(diǎn)撥：注意翻譯語言的簡潔準(zhǔn)確，可以反過來想想自己要翻譯“漠視苦難”成為英文，會使用怎樣的表達(dá)？
