跟讀心得日記：

1、To make pottery that will last, you need a potter's wheel, a kiln – which is basically a very hot oven where you fire the pottery – and some tools.(C20 Test1 Part2第26句)

Basically, a kiln removes the water from clay at temperatures of around a thousand degrees Celsius.(C20 Test1 Part2第30句)

在這兩句話中，都用到了basically這個詞，這個在英語口語中使用頻率非常高，與actually一樣，既帶有一定的實意，表示基本上，大體上，總體上來說等意思，同時也相當于是一個語氣助詞，給說話的人一個緩沖或思考的時間。

2、Some people fire pottery in a fire pit outside, but bear in mind that can be dangerous.(C20 Test1 Part2第35句)

在這句話中，有兩個fire，但其實際意義卻差別很大，第一個fire是一個動詞，表示的是用火燒制（陶瓷）的意思，而第二個fire是個名詞，就是火的本意。

另外跟讀這句話，再次復習了bear in mind這個固定短語，記在心里了。
