本來就有單數詞性的：anybody, anyone, everybody, everyone, nobody, no one, somebody, someone。

問題在于在下文使用代詞時無法確定使用he還是she。

目前：

-在口語中，可用they指代anybody, everybody, somebody, etc.

-在正式書面語中：

（1）如可確定性別，則用he/him 或是 she/her

（2）如不確定性別，則用 "he or she"

（3）重寫句子以避免此問題：

·變單數為復數：When someone studies, he can learn a lot. --> When people study, they can learn a lot.

·用you改寫句子：When you study, you can learn a lot.

·去掉代詞：Studying is a good way to learn a lot.
