名詞（Nouns）

大多數(shù)中式英語中的名詞性冗詞都不會(huì)單獨(dú)出現(xiàn)，而是在與一件物品或介詞組成的短語中。當(dāng)你刪減它們的時(shí)候，你就必須刪掉整個(gè)短語。這樣的名詞通常很好辨認(rèn)，它們會(huì)很直白地重復(fù)一些句中已經(jīng)提過的含義。

例1：to accelerate the pace of economic reform

改1：to accelerate economic reform

（to accelerate = to increase the pace of）

例2：living standards for the people in both urban and rural areas continued to rise

改2：living standards in both urban and rural areas continued to rise

（living standards只能用于描述人）

例3：the development of our economy in the future will, to a large extent, depend on…

改3：the development of our economy will depend to a large extent on…

（整句的將來時(shí)態(tài)就是在描述未來）
