隨感

這部分讀起來著實讓人覺得有些不可思議，阿富汗的婦女權利實在太少太少，幾乎沒有。對于男人而言，妻子更像是一件私人用品，洗衣做飯，繁衍后代。受教育對于他們而言仿佛是有錢人家的奢侈品，一般的普通人家是無法做到的。而且對于當時的社會而言，女人是不允許和外人接觸的，愚昧封閉的落后秩序阻止其進步的速度。

Summary

Mariam came to Kabul with Rasheed.When they got their home, Mariam felt a sense of strange. She suddenly missed Nana,missed Mullah Faizullah,then she cried. It made Rasheed cross and then he pushed a handkerchief into her hand and warned her not to cry.

After a few days, Rasheed brought a blue burqa for her which is a long piece of clothing that could cover the head, face, and body, with only a small square to see through. Rasheed said a woman's face is her husband's business only. He also told her disappear when some guests came home. All these things indicate that there are few freedom of women and for my part, that is a backward feudal rule which could drag the whole economy ?down.
