今年清明沒有去墓園祭奠亡父，只在寓所附近一顆梅花樹下，默默地向著父親墓地所在的東南方向，完成生者對死者的悼念。晚上打電話給母親，說了這件事，聽出了母親欣慰的口吻，說：“這就行了”。想必天下父母都如此，對子女的要求不多，一個(gè)電話問候，做上一點(diǎn)家務(wù)，燒一頓可口飯菜……便能令老人感動(dòng)一陣子。然而與父母養(yǎng)育子女所付出的辛勞相比，這點(diǎn)事真算不得什么。
不做清明，時(shí)間節(jié)余下來，可以寫寫文章，將先前翻譯的清明詩找出來發(fā)到這兒。自己也很滿意，這個(gè)清明節(jié)又有儀式(指花樹下禱告)又有內(nèi)容，對于不善交際應(yīng)酬的我來說挺合適。

At dusk,
an old fisherman lodged by the West Cliff for the night.
At dawn,
he drew water from pure Xiang River and burned bamboos of Chu State.
Then at sunrise,
mist and frog dissolved,
but there was no one in sight.
With a grunt of sculling,
he made a trip in the greenness of mountains and rivers.
Looking back at the distant horizon,
the old fisherman found himself drifting along the mid-river.
While above the cliff,
idle clouds are chasing one after another.
