Q: What made Chaoyun so special for Su Tungpo?

A: Of all the women in Su's life, Chaoyun ?seemed to understand him best. Chaoyun is intelligent, gay, vivacious, spirited. Chaoyun also shared the same interests with Su Tungpo, such as prolong life and Buddhist.

（1）古人很喜歡把客觀事物與主觀相信聯(lián)系起來，比如朝云去世后的狂風暴雨和巨大足跡等。

（2）蘇東坡在講到節(jié)欲時，提供了戒掉一切事物的通用方法：循序漸進，不要勉強自己一蹴而就。比如學(xué)英語，練習要一點點的增加，逐漸走出舒適區(qū)，而不是一想到要學(xué)英語，就明天起做一天8個小時的計劃，很多人沒堅持幾天就放棄了，英語水平還是在原地踏步。

（3）從蘇東坡被貶開始，宿命論的論調(diào)就不時出現(xiàn)。蘇東坡秉持的是一種積極的宿命論：不幸降臨時，調(diào)整心態(tài)接受它，積極面對生活，做自己力所能及的事情。哭也是一天，笑也是一天，當然要笑著面對啦！

couch除了可以作名字，表示“長沙發(fā)”外，還可以用作動詞：be couched in sth formal to be expressed in a particular way 以〔特定方式〕表達，措詞。

（2）本章中用得好的動詞：

encrust 也寫做 incrust，表示to cover or overlay with or as with a crust or hard coating。
