【壹】
很久很久以前，天上有個(gè)皇帝叫玉帝。玉帝有個(gè)好朋友，叫神鳥(niǎo)。
Long long time ago, in heaven lived an Emperor. Emperor Jade had a good friend, called Magic Bird.
【貳】
但是有一天，地上的人們不小心射中了神鳥(niǎo)，將它殺死了。玉帝聽(tīng)說(shuō)此事，非常非常生氣。
他命令天上的士兵，在正月十五的晚上，把人間統(tǒng)統(tǒng)燒光。
But one day, people on earth accidentally shot the Magic Bird. And when Emperor Jade heard that the Magic Bird had been killed, he was very very angry.
He ordered all the heaven soldiers to burn up the world on the 15th day of the first lunar month.
【叁】
玉帝的女兒非常善良。她不希望看到人間被燒光。
于是她趕快來(lái)到人間把這個(gè)消息告訴大家。
Emperor Jade's daughter was kind, she didn't want the world to be burnt up, so she went down to the world in hurry to tell everyone the news.
【肆】
一個(gè)聰明人說(shuō)："正月十五的晚上，請(qǐng)所有人點(diǎn)上燈，且燃放爆竹"。
A clever man said:"During that night, please light up all the lanterns and set off all the fireworks."
【伍】
正月十五的晚上，玉帝看到四處是火光，以為是士兵放火了，心里十分高興。
At the night of the 15th, Emperor Jade saw the burning fire, he thought it was the fire set by the soldiers. So he was very happy.
【陸】
其實(shí)人們是舉著燈在慶祝勝利呢。
后來(lái)，每年的正月十五，家家戶戶都掛著燈。于是人們就把這一天叫作 "燈節(jié)"。
In fact, people were holding lanterns to celebrate Victory.
Later on, every 15th day of the first lunar month, people would hang up the lightened lanterns. And this day each year was then called the Lantern Festival.
【后記】
這是去年元宵節(jié)前夕我畫(huà)的第一本簡(jiǎn)筆畫(huà)故事繪本《Lantern Festival "燈節(jié)"》。
今年在這本黑白繪本的基礎(chǔ)上，上色、且增畫(huà)了兩幅畫(huà)，便構(gòu)成了這本彩色版的故事繪本《Lantern Festival "燈節(jié)"》。
按照傳統(tǒng)習(xí)俗，中國(guó)農(nóng)歷新年的慶祝時(shí)間要持續(xù)十五天，春節(jié)是第一天，而元宵節(jié)則是第十五天，也就是最后一天。
這個(gè)星期五就是元宵節(jié)，又稱(chēng)為“燈節(jié)”。在此提前祝大家：
元宵節(jié)快樂(lè)！燈節(jié)快樂(lè)！
