Remark:

完全等價于中文的“不惜一切代價”，常用在一個人有很大決心要達成一些難以實現(xiàn)的事情，內(nèi)心堅定且重視以至于不惜一切代價。比如，為了女人，為了夢想，為了家，為了國家，為了成功…do sth at all costs. 不惜一切代價做某事。

2) all my life 一生，一輩子

① All my life, I do my best to make myself and the people I love happy.

?我這輩子一直盡力讓我自己和我愛的人開心。
② The greatest lie on earth is that " I will love you all my life."

?世界上最大謊言就是“我愛你，一輩子”

Remark:

描述一些會貫穿人生大部分時間的事物，比如家鄉(xiāng)，伴侶，家人，習(xí)俗，習(xí)慣等等。最常見于我們發(fā)出誓言的時候：”我這輩子，這一生，都只....”

3) happen to 碰巧

① I happened to run into her in the bookstore ten years ago.

?十年前，我在書店上碰巧遇到了她。
② This shit could happen to anyone, but it happened to me. Damn it!!

?這種狗屎可能發(fā)生在任何人身上，但卻碰巧發(fā)生在我身上了，我去！

Remark:

描述小概率事件的發(fā)生，接近中文“碰巧”之意，但有更多豐富的含義，如描述可能性“Could happen to anyone." "If anything should happen to him, who takes the responsibilities? you??".
