1. 認(rèn)識這個詞（基礎(chǔ)篇）

詞：favor

英英釋義：feel or show approval or preference for

例句：Phenomenal English has been increasingly favored by serious English learners.

2. 體會這個詞 （進(jìn)階篇）

從“favor”的英英釋義可以看得出，它有兩層意思，一層是贊同（approval），另一層是偏好（preference），所以“favor”可以分別替換“support”和“prefer”。不管是哪層意思，“favor”都是及物動詞，也都會經(jīng)常出現(xiàn)在《經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)人》中。
