你可能認為這個問題很弱智，沒關(guān)系，I don't care.

英語學(xué)神以及學(xué)渣都知道豹子有cheetah，puma，panther， jaguar 以及l(fā)eopard，難道只有我一個人會問粉紅豹為什么不是Pink Cheetah/Puma/Jaguar/Leopard這個問題嘛？

行吧，我好（四聲）學(xué)問，不求甚解，可以了吧。

今天，無聊的吃瓜群眾們可以跟Eva老師一起了解下，這些豹子，分別都是些什么豹子。

No. 1 Cheetah

維基百科：The cheetah (/?t?i?t?/) is a large cat of the subfamily Felinae that occurs in North, Southern and East Africa, and a few localities in Iran.

翻譯：cheetah隸屬貓科動物，見于非洲北部，南部，東部，以及伊朗的部分地區(qū)。

看下圖這眼神，這皮膚，簡直蜜汁喜歡，呀呀呀。

cheetah: (奔跑極快的) 非洲獵豹

注意：Cheetah是世界上奔跑速度最快的豹子。

No. 2 Leopard

維基百科：The leopard (/?l?p?rd/) is one of the five extant species in the genus Panthera, a member of the Felidae. The leopard occurs in a wide range in sub-Saharan Africa and parts of Asia.

翻譯：leopard是現(xiàn)存的五種豹屬物種之一，也是貓科動物的一員，見于撒哈拉沙漠以南的非洲，及亞洲部分地區(qū)。

leopard: 金錢豹，花豹

No. 3 Puma

puma (/'pju?m?/)大家都知道，運動品牌彪馬。

谷歌翻譯：a large American wild cat with a plain tawny to grayish coat, found from Canada to Patagonia.

這么說來，puma是最不像豹子的豹子了，因為它沒有豹紋，常被譯為美洲獅。

這樣看來，彪馬選擇puma情有可原了，不然logo上還得點幾點豹紋，哈哈......

No. 4 Jaguar

維基百科：The jaguar (/'d??gj??/) is a wild cat species and the only extant member of the genus Panthera native to the Americas.

翻譯：jaguar為野生貓科動物，也是美洲地區(qū)獨有的獵豹類動物。

關(guān)鍵詞：美洲獨有

對了，捷豹汽車就是Jaguar.

jaguar: 美洲虎，美洲豹

No. 5 Panther

谷歌：a leopard, especially a black one.

翻譯：獵豹，尤指黑色的獵豹

看到這里，有沒有明白點??？

總結(jié)起來，panther黑豹，puma是沒有豹紋的那種豹子，cheetah是奔跑速度最快的豹子，jaguar是美洲獨有，leopard就是普通的帶豹紋的豹子咯。

豹子都屬于貓科動物，但貓科又分三個亞科：獵豹亞科、貓亞科、豹亞科。所以英文釋義的時候，會發(fā)現(xiàn)，某個豹子既是貓科又屬于豹科之類的，就是這個原因。鑒于本人生物學(xué)渣，在此不多言，言多必失。

所以，粉紅豹為什么是Pink Panther ？因為，只有panther是關(guān)乎顏色的啊，那pink當(dāng)然非panther莫屬咯。不然，想象一下，一只粉色的puma也是挺好看的吧，哈哈。
