”活久見“，一般有兩種意思：
第一種指活的久了什么都能見到(類似于看到某事物想說“林子大了什么鳥都有”)
第二種就是指活的這么久了第一次看見，表示驚訝，了然。
活久見直譯就是：
The longer you live,the more thngs you will see.活的時間久了什么事都能見到。
或者簡單點(diǎn)：Live longer and see more 活久見。
而要表達(dá)第一種“林子大了什么鳥都有”的意思：There are all kinds of fish in the sea.? 不能直譯，要意譯，英語中用鳥作意象。
或者It takes all sorts to make a world.
要表達(dá)第二種驚訝的意思在里面，我們可以說：
1. I have never seen anything like this/that.
非常正式，標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的說法。我從來沒過這樣的。
也就是“活久見”
2. I ain't never seen nothing like this/that.
美國人的地道口頭表達(dá)。三重否定: ain't , never, nothing.
例：
-What? That is the toliet? That is a hole in the ground!
啥？那是廁所？它就是地板上有個洞！
-Oh, I agree. I ain't never seen nothing like this.
我同意。我也是活久見！
此外，英語中有You live and learn.
一邊活著一邊學(xué)，這個看似和“活到老，學(xué)到老”有點(diǎn)兒像的短語，其實(shí)是在表示見到新鮮事有點(diǎn)兒驚訝~ 和“活久見”比較相近。
例：
-I had no idea they were related.
我不知道他們之間有關(guān)系。
-Oh well, you live and learn.
好吧，活久見~
以及Of all things：
在所有事情中，偏偏就有你想不到的。這個短語除了要表達(dá)出萬萬沒想到的狀況，也透著幾分無語。
例：
The coach is making the entire football team take, of all things, ballet classes.
教練竟然讓足球隊(duì)所有成員去上芭蕾課，真是醉了……
當(dāng)然，活久見如果指好的讓人長見識的，則可以說open eyes/mind：
open someone's eyes to someone or something
to cause someone, including oneself, to become aware of someone or something. 例：
We finally opened our eyes to what was going on around us. The events of last night opened my eyes to Tom.
以及它的名詞形式eyeopener和形容詞eyeopening/
Something surprising and revealing
例：
The experience/thing/event was an eyeopener.
還有程度更深life-changing，life-changing experience
life-changing: having such a strong effect that it changes one's life
例：
I have moved to another country, learned many things about people, their approaches to living, points of view and so forth. And this experience has opened my eyes/mind widely so I have changed my world view... It's been life-changing OR a life-changing experience.
Life-changing experiences are by their very nature eye-opening.
此外，Life-altering也可以。
還可以說：you have been enlightened. You have had an epiphany.
