There was the guy--an activist of party ?application. One year ago, he was so innocent and passionate for party service work. However, today ?when I paid party membership dues, he was responsible for collecting dues and signing our names, he became experienced and sophisticated.?
"How much shall I pay the party membership dues this year?"
He lifted his face and stared at me in surprise. "How much is your monthly salary? Don't you know the dues is paid in accordance with your salary? ?Higher salary, more dues."?
I told him the true number, and he looked at me in the way that made me feel like a fool.?
"Ok, since you said so, you should pay xxx one month, and pay xxx dues one year."
"Why! So much dues, but I see all the others only pay several hundreds for one year!"
At this time, I know why he looked at me in such a strange way. It' s because I told him the truth while all the others knew the small trick in it.
Sometimes, when everyone knows the trick as well as tacitly admits one hidden rule, one innocent guy will appear like a fool though he thinks he is the only one who tells the truth and obeys the rule.
Ridiculous! This is the group effect. If you want to be a matured and wise man in the society, you should look before you leap and never try to be an early bird. Sometimes what you consider quite serious and earnest may be only a small trick in those experts' eyes.
