I think people in developed countries get fat not just because they eat too much junk food and processed food.The low cost of living in developed countries is also a key factor.So there's not much that the government and the food companies can do about it.Food companies do not advertise their products as being high in fat and calories, because this does not violate advertising laws.I suggest that the government should encourage sports events to be held locally and cooperate with TV stations to promote them.Then there are the laws that regulate and even subsidize the fitness industry.In addition, videos of healthy living can be shown in public places such as subway and bus stations.It's not very effective, but it can slowly give people the idea of a healthy diet.
