sway

釋義：to influence someone so that they change their opinion

『“sway”是及物動詞，本意是”搖晃、搖擺“（可以試著閉上眼睛，邊讀邊用一只手從左到右搖擺，感受一下“sway”）。常被引申為“影響、使動搖”，很多時候可以用來替換 influence 和 impact。但需要注意，sway 的影響程度要高于 influence 和 impact?！?/p>

例② 現(xiàn)在很多西方國家的民眾都受到民粹主義政客的擺布
