Our neighbor, Captain Charles Alison, will sail from Portsmouth tomorrow. We'll meet him at the harbour early in the morning. He will be in his small boat—Topsail.Topsail is a famous little boat. It has sailed across the Atlantic many times. Captain Alison will set out at eight o'clock so we'll have plenty of time. We'll see his boat and then we'll say good-bye to him. He will be away for two months. We are very proud of him. He will take part in an important race across the Atlantic.

L1發(fā)音/?/和/i/

/i/發(fā)音方法——上下唇微開，上下齒分開，舌尖稍微抵住在下齒，嘴角盡量往兩旁移動，像微笑的樣子，然后振動聲帶。

/?/發(fā)音方法——上下唇及上下齒要比發(fā)/i/時微開，雙唇扁平，嘴角兩旁肌肉要比發(fā)/i/時略為放松，舌尖稍微抵住下齒，震動聲帶。

練習(xí)感悟：

原聲錄音時長47秒，朗讀時長49秒，超過原聲2秒。

proud/pra?d/朗讀的時候讀錯，讀成/pra?nd/自說自話的加了個鼻音，朗讀時候還是需要集中注意力。
