因為香港狗仔隊捕獲他與老婆帶爸媽看醫(yī)生，他先是扶爸爸下車，輪到媽媽下來時，他不但用手擋車頂，防止媽媽頭撞到，甚至用雙手把她抱下車，“兒子力”爆棚!
當(dāng)天他們是由司機(jī)開7人座車子到置地廣場，車一停妥，劉青云就搶先下車，貼心協(xié)助80多歲的爸媽先后下車，劉爸劉媽看起來精神都還
不錯，看完醫(yī)生后，他母親自己步行出來，外傭也隨侍在旁，等到司機(jī)把車開到置地廣場后，劉青云依然先照顧兩老，輪流扶2人上車，還幫爸爸系好安全帶，這才上車一同離開。
當(dāng)年劉青云會當(dāng)演員，就是因為爸爸慧眼獨具叫他去考無線電視藝員訓(xùn)練班，不過父母從小到大都比較疼他姊姊和弟弟，可能是因為他小

劉青云長大后對父母非常孝順，雖然個性內(nèi)斂，比較不會講好話討父母開心，但照顧兩老都很細(xì)心，他也曾在臉書感慨說：“不知不覺，
我們的父母長輩漸漸年邁，請珍惜與父母一起的時光，多聽聽他們的嘮叼，多給他們打電話。”他不只說得到，還做得到，親身力行，實在是模范兒子。
