CO poisoning not a ghost event
Carrie Poppy went a ghost event in which she felt a pressure on your chest auditory hallucinations and an unexplained feeling of dread
and it turned out to be carbon monoxide poisoning because of gas leak
Then she became an investigator in two senses:
an investigative journalist
an investigator of the claims of the paranormal and claims of the spiritual
Found:
- in her 70 investigations 100% events can be explained by science
- others remain mysteries, but a mystery is a mystery. It is not a ghost
Two kind of truth:
- outer truth: can be testable
- inner truth: believe inside of your mind no matter of fact
because as soon as we have these scientific explanations, we know to give up the ghost. We use these things as stopgaps for things that we can't explain. We don't believe them because of evidence; we believe them because of a lack of evidence

我們總是試圖給所有未知現(xiàn)象找一個解釋,當(dāng)我們無法用科學(xué)來解釋時,我們會訴諸于想象中的鬼怪,因?yàn)橄胂?,所以它無所不能,無所不包。
我們相信鬼怪的存在也不是因?yàn)橛衅浯嬖诘淖C據(jù),許多鬼怪事件的傳說只是在缺乏科學(xué)解釋下一個便宜行事的說法。
