奧斯卡·王爾德(Oscar Wilde，1854~1900)，英國著名文豪，是19世紀(jì)最富盛名的劇作家。他身兼詩人、小說家、散文家、童話作家等，是19世紀(jì)與蕭伯納齊名的英國才子。奧斯卡·王爾德是唯美主義代表人物，19世紀(jì)80年代美學(xué)運動的主力和90年代頹廢派運動的先驅(qū)。1900年王爾德因腦膜炎于巴黎的旅館去世，終年46歲。
