Today is Wednesday.

The Journey to The West, one of the Four Great Classical Novels, which I read in my childhood, is a mythic fiction written by Wu Chengen. The story is based on the real life of the famous Tang Dynastic monk, Xuan Zang, who walked from China to India to fetch Buddhist books. In history, Xuan Zang went there by himself, but in the novel, the author created four characters. Monk Tang, the master or the leader of the team. Sun Wukong, a stone monkey, who is able to change to seventy two things and move over one hundred and eight thousands miles in a second, is the first follower of Monk Tang. Zhu Bajie, a pig, who is the laziest one of the team, doesn't have many great capabilities except eating and sleeping. Monk Sha, who was a monster, has fewer capabilities than Zhu and always carries their luggages. They had overcomed eighty one troubles and eventually arrived at their target place.

It's the first full-length novel I had ever read. I love that fiction very much and now my son loves it too. We are both the loyal followers of the great novel.
