So hey, this is the beginning of my blog, which I will hopefully find the time and energy to keep updated throughout my year in southwest America.

Time flies, I've been in Portland for 92 days already since August 13th, I'm here as a Chinese language scholar teaching Chinese at Reed college officially, but at the same time, I'm also a student, which means I get the opportunity to study here. This year is mostly a break for me, a chance to discover more about myself and what I want to do for the future.

I compelled myself to put down this in English rather than Chinese, cuz it's really a good chance for me to improve my English. I mean I can even noticed my English pronunciation improved through the 90 days, but it's not enough though. I have a bad memory, simultaneously , I am also lazy, so I'll try my best to put down my feeling, new words and new phrases I've learned, to make sure that I can remember and use them. Apart from that, I also noticed that I need some resources or talking stuff for future's interview, which I found is very important for introducing myself, for others getting familiar with me in a short time.

I have a lot to say about portland, about my self-discovery, about courses I'm taking and teaching, about the difference between China and the U.S. So, this blog is not only about memory, but also ego-examine. Feeling excited! Right now!
