《Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone》is the first book I read in my life, I am so excited! I even can't imagine I can finish one English book! Although I read very slow, I finished it!
At the begining , it's really a little hard to start, because I am not familiar with the style of the author, but luckily I know the story, I watched movie before, it's helpful. And more luckily I just remembered the general not specific. I even didn't remember who is the bad man besides Voldemort. Then I started. ?Harry Potter, a boy who wears round glasses and messy hair expericed a real challenge and different wizard life. Until he was 11 years old, he suffered aunty's family、hadn't receive a gift and they just let him live in a cupboard. He had a miserable childhood. But on Harry's 11-year-old birthday, he received an admission letter and Hagrid helped him to prepare everything for magic school. ?After he entered magic school--Hogwards,everything changed! He met his best friends -Ron and Hermione, they studied、played and faced a few adventures、experienced life and death together; He became the youngest player of Quidditch and won his team; With the help of friends, he defeated Voldemort (who killed Harry's parents and tried to kill him when he was one year old) at last by his courage and integrity even he is much weaker than him. When I read chapters in the back it's really attractive and splendid, I can hardly tear myself away from it ! I love the feeling~
After reading it I serched the movie to watch again. I thought I already read the book I can understand the speaking without subtitle, but I am wrong, I am so frustraded. Afterwards, my teacher told me they are English accent, it's normal I can't understand. I am happy again. haha! The movie almost returns to the original novel , except some details. But we can understand the movie time is limit. I think the roles in the movie are all perfect, I love little Emma most! Besides comparing the episodes between the movie and book is also a kind of fun.
In the end, I want to say it's reallly an amazing story. Strongly recommed the novel !
