April 16:
英文版
Part 1
People who like suspicion and doubt always give a utilitarian interpretation to the behavior of others.
For example when they see someone else encouraging good conduct, they think that the person must have ulterior motives he cannot tell people about.
In fact, what the suspicious person sees is not the other person's motives, but rather his own suspicious mind.
This is because theworld as seen in each person's eyes is the manifestation of that person's mind and spirit.(page 139)
Part 2
Completely indiscriminate faith is a deluded kind of faith, akin to superstition.
People with deluded faith entrust liberation to things outside the mind.
They think that their own liberation must depend on other people, or must depend on worshipping certain people or certain things, or worshipping this or that god or spirit.
They completely fail to consider what they themselves must do and act like slaves.
Nowadays there are many people with deluded faith. and they do not understand that liberation is their own task.(page 140)
