Ode to My Motherland
Across the vast land where rivers sing their tales,
Mountains stand like guardians, in mist and sun they pale.
From the Great Wall’s coils that kiss the azure sky,
To the southern seas where golden waves dance high.
Each grain of soil holds stories old and new,
Of heroes who marched, their dreams so pure and true.
The rice fields wave, a green and endless sea,
Feeding every heart, setting every spirit free.
At dusk, the cities glow with lights so bright,
Bridges span the rivers, connecting day and night.
From ancient temples to towers reaching far,
Her beauty blends the old with what’s afar.
This is my Motherland, where love does grow,
In every voice, in every wind that blows.
I’ll sing her praises, now and evermore,
For she’s the home my heart will always adore.
