2. 體會這個詞 （進階篇）

想到“持續(xù)”我們可能會立刻想到“continue”，很多時候其實也可以用“l(fā)ast”來替換?！發(fā)ast”作為動詞可以表示“持續(xù)”，它的主語一般是一個事件、情形、問題。比如我們想說“房產(chǎn)的繁榮景象不會持續(xù)”，就可以說：

The housing boom will not last.

Justin 在寫“瑞幸咖啡”的英文隨筆中也用到過“l(fā)ast”。瑞幸發(fā)展迅猛，但這種勢頭是否會持續(xù)下去還不得而知。他是這樣寫的：
