Once upon a time， there was an island where all the feelings lived： Happiness， Sadness， Knowledge， and all of the others， including Love. One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink， so all constructed boats and left. Except for Love.

在從前，有個(gè)小島上住著各種各樣的情感：有幸福，悲傷，聰慧，還有其他各種情感，還有愛情。有一天，他們被告知小島即將沉沒，大家伙都紛紛建造小船紛紛離去。只有愛情對此不是很“感冒”。

Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment.

眾人紛紛離去，只有愛情獨(dú)自留了下來。他打算自己撐到最后可能的那一刻。

When the island had almost sunk， Love decided to ask for help.

當(dāng)小島真的快沉沒的時(shí)候，愛情才開始準(zhǔn)備求救逃離。

Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said，

當(dāng)財(cái)富駕著華麗的大船路過愛情的身旁，他準(zhǔn)備向財(cái)富乞求幫忙。

"Richness， can you take me with you?"

“財(cái)富，能載我離開這里么?”

Richness answered， "No， I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you."

財(cái)富回道：“不可以，我的船里面載滿了金銀，這里可沒空地容你?！?/p>

Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel. "Vanity， please help me!"

愛情打算向駕著漂亮的船兒同時(shí)也路過這里的虛榮求救。“虛榮，請你幫幫我吧?！?/p>

"I can't help you， Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat，" Vanity answered.

虛榮回道：“我可幫不到你的忙，”“可你渾身濕碌碌的，說不定會(huì)弄壞我的船呢?！?/p>

Sadness was close by so Love asked， "Sadness， let me go with you."

悲傷路過愛情的身邊，于是愛情乞求道：“悲傷，帶我一起離開這里吧。”

"Oh . . . Love， I am so sad that I need to be by myself!"

“哦...，愛情，我太傷感了，我只想自己一個(gè)人呆著?！?/p>

Happiness passed by Love， too， but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her.

快樂也路過愛情這里，但是她太興奮了以至于她根本沒有注意聽到愛情的哀求聲。愛情與時(shí)間

Suddenly， there was a voice， "Come， Love， I will take you." It was an elder. So blessed and overjoyed， Love even forgot to ask the elder where they were going. When they arrived at dry land， the elder went her own way. Realizing how much was owed the elder， Love asked Knowledge， another elder， "Who Helped me?"

就在這個(gè)時(shí)候，突然耳邊響起了聲音，“過來吧，愛情，我?guī)銇黼x開這里?！边@聲音是為長者的。由于愛情終于能離開這里而太愉快而且太欣喜過望，以至于他連問長者他們一快將駛向哪里都沒有提及。當(dāng)他們一行到了干涸的土地上后，長者徑直離開了。愛情意識(shí)到自己虧欠了這位長者太多后，他開口向另一位被稱為智慧的長者問道：“那為幫我的人是誰呢?”

"It was Time，" Knowledge answered.

智慧回道：“是時(shí)間本人?！?/p>

"Time?" asked Love. "But why did Time help me?"

愛情迷惑的問到“是時(shí)間?它為什么要幫助我離開那里呢?”

Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered， "Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is."

智慧微哂，禪定道來：“因?yàn)橹挥袝r(shí)間才能夠真正懂得愛情本身有多重要。
