It tells about how Catherine gets to knowEdgar (her future husband).

Catherine and Heathcliff were treated differently after Mr. old Earnshaw died.

Catherine could continue her lesson while Heathcliff was made to do work on farm.

However, the friendship between them was never changed.

One day. They walked to the TG and peeked through the window of the sitting room to see what happened to Isabella andEdgar.

They laughed and laughed and soon was heardby the servant. They both were caught.

Mr Linton would like to take good care of Catherinein his TG, but pushed Heathcliff out of their garden.

Catherine did stay at TG for several weekstill Christmas.
