我想到以寫作朦朧詩代表八十年代青年發(fā)聲的詩人北島，而后輾轉(zhuǎn)旅居海外，徘徊港澳，至今曖昧地不為主流正統(tǒng)所推崇。有評(píng)價(jià)說，如果是一個(gè)純粹的詩人，相信北島作為老北京一定會(huì)順利適應(yīng)帝都的高房?jī)r(jià)，也許在北大中文系任教，而不是出走半生才歸來港島，乃至對(duì)眼前的北京完全陌生。每個(gè)人的命運(yùn)都有其必然，或許是因?yàn)橐粋€(gè)逝去的時(shí)代，終究要有一個(gè)天才般的人物去冷眼旁觀。

五十幾歲的蘇軾，和六十幾歲的北島，有相思的才情和命運(yùn)。北島后來推出的一系列詩作和散文集，隱約仍有宏大的歷史敘述背景的鮮明特色。文集《城門開》里由北京的光影、氣息和聲音，委婉地帶出政治痕跡的長(zhǎng)尾。作為時(shí)代政治經(jīng)濟(jì)文化中心的記憶縮影，塵封的歷史，重構(gòu)的意象就如李健《父親寫的散文詩》唱的“縫紉機(jī)的踏板”“藍(lán)色滌卡上衣”，帶回那個(gè)年代。到《北京四中》出現(xiàn)的一個(gè)個(gè)還執(zhí)掌權(quán)柄的高級(jí)干部名字，北島作為一個(gè)文人思考的輪廓已經(jīng)清晰。才華橫溢而又出身不凡，隔著文字都能感受到北島后來被迫離開大陸漂泊歐美的痛楚。

“所以反復(fù)計(jì)慮，莫若求去?！睍邕_(dá)的蘇軾或者冷峻的北島，在政治高壓震懾個(gè)人理想抱負(fù)的年代，其實(shí)都不過只是個(gè)漂泊的游子，是無家可歸的孤魂。謙退、避讓、出走，與自己達(dá)成和解也許不是最壞的結(jié)局。
Now I am free of all cares in this life,
And this year the farmers are promised good crops.
Coming down the hill, I hear the good news;
Even the flowers and birds wear a face of joy.
此生已覺都無事，今歲仍逢大有年。
山寺歸來聞好語，野花啼鳥亦欣然。
