Yesterday afternoon Frank Hawkins wastelling me about his experiences as a young man. Before heretired, Frank was thehead of a very large business company, but as a boy he used to work in a small shop. 舌尖微微伸出，置于上下門齒之間，舌身成扁平。
氣流由舌齒間瀉出，摩擦成音，舌尖和下齒之間的氣流通道非常窄小，氣流從舌齒間的窄縫中泄出。
注意：/θ/是個(gè)清輔音，聲帶不震動(dòng)。要注意與/e/,/s/,/z/的區(qū)別，發(fā)這個(gè)音主要是舌尖與上齒之間的摩擦，所以千萬不要緊緊咬住舌尖，應(yīng)該是上齒輕觸舌尖。
