Had a really busy day today.
Had a mock interview in the morning. I’ll touch a bit more on that later. On the way there, there’s a street on the route of 41 close to Joyce station with beautiful flower blossom! pink 花瓣散落在地上特別的夢(mèng)幻美麗～
The mock interview was kinda scary tho. I saw Kevin, Sam, and Peter there, and it turned out Kevin was already married hahaha. One thing I should definitely take away from that is to build up my example bank and to practice my interviewing skills. Sam mentioned a really good website called novoresume. Will use that template if I’m applying to jobs outside the coop system.?
Because I carpooled with Chris, and that’s how I met him there. He was from Saskatchewan and currently doing a job at a really good consulting firm which had a large water sector yay. The grouse grind hike is kinda tiring with nonstop elevation gain. My knees hurts a little every time I hike. Will try to figure out a solution later. It took us two hours to get to top, but you know what, some people can reach the top within 23 mins... can’t imagine how fast they go... are their knees ok? The mountain top was foggy. I was actually expecting really good pictures at the end... shhhhad. Couldn't see anything from the top. But I guess I had really good exercise for the day. The download gondola was $15, and they recently increased the fee, which used to be $10 holy shit...
The first internal gathering was fun!!! Had a lot of food which doesn’t make me feel guilty at all because I had enough workout today yay. Got to talk to people who sit around me and had a chance to listen to what they’re currently doing.
I feel like if I could switch my focuse from guys towards my career, I’ll feel much more confident and satisfied about myself.
I do things because I like doing those. I should be the only reason of doing it. I’m not doing anything that doesn’t make me feel good or comfortable.
P.s. my roommate Anna is moving out. Deep down, I think she’s such a good friend and nice person I could’ve ever had. And she has the same birthday as I do. Wish her all the best haha.
