China has mobilized 20000 scholars from universities and research institutes to compile online Chinese encyclopedia,which will be launched in 2018.It will cover 110 academic disciplines and 10000 entries and be twice as large as encyclopedia britannica,according to the encyclopedia of China publishing house. The online encyclopedia will be fully open to public for free and allow readers to comment and editors will make changes after checking.However,it's not an open platform on which any person online can add or delete content.
