這是個富有爭議的兒童故事。很有趣，電影版中的故事情節(jié)很刺激。爸爸的臺詞：I am big, you are little. I am right, you are wrong.

1. 在故事里面，通常壞人變好。然而matilda的父母還有校長并沒有變好。

故事里面通常有對比，皇上平民，最好的和最壞的。壞的最后變好，跟之前成對比，體現(xiàn)forgiveness。但這個故事重點(diǎn)是小孩kicking back大人。作者這樣寫可能是為了反傳統(tǒng)or 個人believing system

2. 成人可以看出其中的諷刺，兒童呢？3. matilda的角色：inbetween 特殊兒童和普通兒童（智力超人，孩子般表達(dá)情緒）給孩子啟發(fā)：要讀書才能像matilda一樣打敗大人。還有when need help, go ask for help or try to get through it.

4. 父親排斥matilda看書，說她是mistake，但又讓她family time一起看電視，因為那樣才像一家人。他心中的理想家庭是？

5.強(qiáng)膠水等的惡作劇會不會對其他小孩有壞影響？

不會：故事有說明惡作劇的糟糕結(jié)果，比如多難處理，父母多難為；另外，乖小孩自然不敢模仿，而調(diào)皮的小孩不缺這幾個ideas；更重要的是，這本書可以提供和小孩、學(xué)生互動交流的機(jī)會，一起談?wù)搈atilda的行為，了解孩子的想法并進(jìn)行引導(dǎo)。

會：孩子喜歡模仿，不懂事。

6. 這個故事MAKE fun of people in power, questioning and challenging the ?authority, 讓人想起中國美猴王，還有美國的政客漫畫。
