Today, at the beginning, I spent about 10 minutes asking them to write some important words, phrases and sentences in the mid-term exam. The result was a little more satisfying than that in the exam.it showed that as long as they spared time to recite these points, they would have not done so badly.
While I ask them to do the dictation, some of them can not follow, so they always ask me to repeat. I need to set rules for the dictation. 1. There must be names, dates and group number on the top, if not, and five points will be taken out.

  1. There must be numbers, if not five points will be missed. 3. There are only two words, a phrase or a sentence in one line. If not, five points will be missed.
    Then I checked the answers of close test and reading comprehension. Because time is limited, I just told them the answers and explained why. However, it would be better to ask them to tell the answers and reasons by discussing with their partners.
    In addition, I need to walk around the class frequently to find out if everyone pay close attention to the lessons and take notes.
