借著這個熱點，今天給大家分享個翻譯小知識。

以發(fā)展促人權(quán)，消除一切形式貧困等理念，中國的人權(quán)倡導(dǎo)在國際人權(quán)領(lǐng)域引發(fā)了強烈的反響和廣泛的共鳴。
這句話中的“消除一切形式貧困”怎么翻譯呢？
“消除貧困”可以說eradicate/end/eliminate poverty，順便說下“脫貧”的翻譯，可以是lift sb out of poverty，這個在報告中經(jīng)常出現(xiàn)，被動就是sb be lifted out of poverty。“脫貧”也可以說sb shake off poverty或escape poverty。如：
現(xiàn)行聯(lián)合國標準下的7億多貧困人口成功脫貧，占同期全球減貧人口總數(shù)70%以上。
According to current UN standards,more than 700 million Chinese people have been lifted out of poverty,accounting for more than 70% of the global total over the same period.
還比如國際組織文件中這句：
Education in itself is an empowering right and one of the most powerful tools by which economically and socially marginalized children and adults canlift themselves out of poverty?and participate fully in society.
教育本身可以賦予人們權(quán)利。對于在經(jīng)濟和社會上被邊緣化的兒童和成年人而言，教育是他們擺脫貧困、充分參與社會最有力的工具之一。
“脫貧攻堅戰(zhàn)”可以說the/its?fight against poverty，加the或its是特指中國的脫貧攻堅戰(zhàn)，如：
We have made decisive progress inthe fight against poverty.
脫貧攻堅取得決定性進展。
我國脫貧攻堅戰(zhàn)取得了全面勝利。
China has scored a "complete victory" inits fight against poverty.
好，我們再看看“一切形式”的翻譯，這個是修飾“貧困”的，可以一起翻譯為poverty in all its forms，這個里面需要注意得有its，因為是指poverty的“形式”；form是復(fù)數(shù)。比如“反對一切形式的恐怖主義”就可以說oppose terrorism in all its forms
poverty in all its forms也可以說all forms of poverty，如Chinadaily例句：
Eliminating all forms of poverty is the primary goal of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
注意：
原文說的是“消除一切形式貧困等理念”，但是我們一般不說消除理念，這里指的就是“消除一切形式貧困”。
所以這個可以翻譯為eradicate/end/eliminate poverty in all its forms。
真題中這句話整體就翻譯為：
以發(fā)展促人權(quán)，消除一切形式貧困等理念，中國的人權(quán)倡導(dǎo)在國際人權(quán)領(lǐng)域引發(fā)了強烈的反響和廣泛的共鳴。
