一次犯錯的經歷:
S: 雖然我不想犯錯,但是每個人都會犯錯。 我記得那一天是星期五,周六我們團隊約定去爬山有時候我們周六會加班。 然后周五我要發(fā)布一個軟件的版本給到無線部門,他們周六將會聯(lián)調,我急忙忙完代碼的修改,憧憬著第二天的爬山活動。經過簡單自驗證后快速的給他們發(fā)布了聯(lián)調版本。 我很滿意的下班了。 第二天我們就去爬山了,享受著沿途的風景,漂亮的水庫。 放松自己。 但是一個電話打了過來,然后電話那頭告訴我周五發(fā)布的版本有bug。
T 然后他們周一要聯(lián)調完成,希望我盡快解決。
A 當我收到這個消息是有點沮喪的,但是很快振作起來了,畢竟要對自己的結果負責,不能因為我的錯誤而延誤了客戶的進度。所以我做了個艱難的決定,立即驅車2小時回到工位(我們一直在工位辦公),立即著手解決問題。
R 很快問題得到了解決,在發(fā)現(xiàn)問題的當天就立即修復并且發(fā)布了新的聯(lián)調版本。

當與同事發(fā)生沖突了怎么處理?
我是一個和善的人,但是有時候遇到工作上的沖突時我也會很較真。 比如有一次,
s: 華為的工作有一項clean code要求,這是應對西塞機構的指責我們代碼風格很丑陋推出的一項措施。當中有一項要求,即要求API入?yún)⒉荒艹^5個。有一天我需要設計一個API給客戶使用,為了方便客戶使用我的入?yún)⑦_到了6個,然后commiter出來指責,認為入?yún)⒉荒艹^5個,這個規(guī)定。
t: 我為了方便客戶使用,堅持使用6個參數(shù),雖然某種意義上是不符合公司規(guī)定的。但是公司的規(guī)定的初衷也是為了更方便客戶使用,所以我認為有討論的空間,我需要說服他們這個場景是公司規(guī)定的一個例外場景。
a: 我找來業(yè)界很多C語言風格的API來試圖證明超過5個參數(shù)也是可以接受的現(xiàn)象,另外站在客戶使用方便的角度來進行辯駁,模擬兩個API在客戶使用場景上的差別,列出優(yōu)缺點(包括兼容性,易使用性,可讀性,可維護性)。最終拿到會議上去討論,到底是否需要將這些參數(shù)封裝成結構體。
r: 最終討論的結果是可以使用6個參數(shù)的API,可以是規(guī)則的一個例外。對于C語言的API,處于兼容性考慮很多接口都可能會超過5個,我們需要盡量的保證新設計的接口入?yún)⑹窃?個以內。最終這個API方便了客戶,也得到了客戶的認可。

一次充滿挑戰(zhàn)的經歷:
S: 一個下午manager緊急將我叫到會議室,告訴我說現(xiàn)網出現(xiàn)了bug,沃達豐在設備升級的時候提示內存不足,設備升級需要20M的整塊內存,影響將近3000+用戶的使用,并且不保證其他設備沒有這個問題,這件事引起了輪值懂事長的重視,必須盡快解決。
T: 公司協(xié)調沃達豐一個月后再升級設備,所以我必須在這之前解決解決問題。時間非常緊迫。但是在我接到任務前,我對此不了解。
A: 首先我花了兩天時間了解到事故的原因并且重現(xiàn)了問題,是來自一個異常的外部輸入,一個具有超大的吊銷列表的證書發(fā)送到我們設備上,然后我們設備使用openssl的ASN1 解析這個證書。 但是由于openssl會將每個字段都會開辟一小塊內存,這就導致了嚴重的內存碎片化。 從而使得設備大塊內存不足。對于那一本證書,我測試得到內存開辟的次數(shù)為20萬次。 接下來我就要想辦法將開辟次數(shù)降下來。
然后花3天的時間選定解決方案,在這三天里,我無數(shù)次運行openssl解析證書的模塊,一步一步執(zhí)行代碼,試圖搞懂他的解析機制。最后了解到ASN1解析證書的運行機制。并且在解析完證書后也會保持他的元數(shù)據(jù), 這點發(fā)現(xiàn)很重要。這樣就能使用內存偏移的方法去解析證書了,字段的內容只要偏移到元數(shù)據(jù)對應的地址就好了。這會節(jié)省部分內存開銷。
最后匯報給manager 決定使用內存偏移和內存池結合的方案來解決內存碎片化嚴重的問題。
最后花了一周時間完成。
R: 最后測試發(fā)現(xiàn)在同一本證書的情況下,解析證書時開辟內存次數(shù)從20萬次,下降到200多次。問題得到成功的解決。獲得部門好評。

我很想推遲到第二天,但是我是這個項目的owner,并且我承諾了今天將庫發(fā)布。 在下午2點的時候,眼看著有沒法兌現(xiàn)承諾了。只能跟客戶說明流水線的情況。然后表示今天內解決問題并且發(fā)布。 客戶對這個方案跟時間點表示接受。然后我就一直等著流水線修復,并且發(fā)布版本,進行測試,在晚上10點的時候發(fā)布了動態(tài)庫給到客戶。 通過這次事件,我學會了在給出承諾的時候給自己留更多的時間buffer以應對突發(fā)情況。 并且及時跟客戶溝通難處,通過溝通贏取客戶的信任。 最后及時發(fā)布贏取了客戶的信任,雖然我錯過了deadline, 但是還是克服困難在當天發(fā)布了動態(tài)庫。

I got a negtive feedback from my custermer. first day I discuss a deliver plan with my custermer. and list all the feature that they want it.
