I have to do this because I will be conducting a workshop training for my colleagues next week. I want to give a better presentation and improve my public speaking skills, which I am not very comfortable with, even though it's a small group.

I heard that "talking to myself" is a good way to practice. I hope this method works for me and helps me improve. If I notice any mistakes, I can still correct them while speaking before the final presentation. So, I will choose a topic related to what I am going to share. I will talk about data transformation in system reporting and encourage my colleagues to use data directly from SQL statements instead of generating system reports and doing the analysis.

Based on my understanding, the data is originally generated from different databases. If we can access the database source directly and combine the different databases, we won't need to run each report separately and then compare them after sorting the data. Reading from the database will be faster than running reports. Along with my basic idea, I will provide one or two examples of how we have done this in the past and give some templates to the team. We will also examine the SQL statements to see if there are any basic sentences or columns that can be changed or updated to practical examples. Then, we will establish some models and try to make our process more efficient. Finally, we will follow all the workflow process improvements to make our daily jobs smoother.

Anyway, the workshop is a great opportunity for me to gather feedback, review my past processes, and seek further improvements. I strongly believe that productivity and efficiency are crucial in today's world. When we streamline our processes, more chances and opportunities will arise. We can turn difficulties into opportunities.
