Hello, everyone! My Name is Minnie. This is my most impressive Picture book.
The title is The rain Came down. The author is David Shannon.
The illustrator is David Shannon too. The plot is as the following,
On Saturday morning, the rain came down suddenly. It made the chickens squawk. But that's only the beginning.
A cat yowled at the chickens, then a dog barked at the cat. The man yelled at the dog, and woke up the baby, and the wife got angry. The whole family got into great confusion.
A policeman heard the noise and stopped his car to see what was wrong, and caused a traffic jam. The taxis, the trucks, and the ice-cream van stopped after the policeman’s car one by one. Everyone was in hurry and argued with each other, and the naughty boy splashed the little girl, and made her cry. The whole street was in a mess, too.
Soon the policeman went back to his car. The rain stopped, and the rainbow appeared, too. The air smelled fresh and sweet. The noise miraculously stopped. A baker gave a very good comment, it’s much too nice a day to be arguing!
The man, wife, baby, dog, cat and the chicken, the whole family decided to take a picnic to enjoy the great day.
How interesting this book is. I like the ending most.
