繪本里的Alligator像一個孩子，而Crocodile則像一個媽媽。Crocodile從一早起床就開始忙碌，而每次她詢問Alligator能不能幫忙的時候，Alligator都有一個很好的借口。最后，Crocodile享用美味的魚午餐，而Alligator只能看著流口水。

繪本賞析
繪本的是一個學(xué)習(xí)的好機會，在繪本里讓孩子可以知道勞動的重要性～但每一個人的都有自己的選擇想要做的事情，從側(cè)面我們要學(xué)習(xí)去尊重別人的選擇，以及對于我們選擇的要去承擔后果，就像后面alligator沒有東西吃一樣。
關(guān)于作者
于1960年出身在法國東北部，在她大學(xué)畢業(yè)的時候獲得了視覺通訊學(xué)位，專業(yè)為兒童插畫。之后，她于1985年搬到英格蘭。她接受了出版商Michael Twinn的邀請加入Child’s Play團隊 (Michael Twinn為Child's Play的所有者和創(chuàng)始人)。在過去的20年里，她一直是孩子們的游戲藝術(shù)總監(jiān)，同時創(chuàng)作并出版了很多的兒童書籍，主題十分豐富。
