Two of the leading growers, Giuseppe Moldovaand Ricardo Brabante, tell me that they have been expecting a splendid cropthis year and harvesting has begun earlier than usual. Here you can see twoworkers who, between them, have just finished cutting three cart-loads ofgolden brown macaroni stalks. The whole village has been working day and nightgathering and threshing this year's crop before the September rains. On theright, you can see Mrs. Brabante herself. She has been helping her husband forthirty years now. Mrs. Brabante is talking to the manager of the local factorywhere the crop is processed. This last scene shows you what will happen at theend of the harvest: the famous Calabrian macaroni-eating competition! SignorFratelli, the present champion, has won it every year since 1991. And that endsour special bulletin for today, Thursday, April 1st. We are now going back tothe studio.'

練習(xí)感悟： 這幾篇都比較長(zhǎng)，可以想見(jiàn)第一次讀的時(shí)候，應(yīng)該是比較困難的，不過(guò)現(xiàn)在讀起來(lái)還好，不會(huì)很拗口
