Matter Design and building material company Cemex Global R&D are collaborating on a project called Walking Assembly. They took ideas from Stonehenge and ancient Greek masonry to propose a construction scheme where interlocking big heavy pieces can be moved by human hands. The concrete blocks are 5 feet tall and about 1000 pounds by weight, but are designed using physics. This method of building can cut down emission during the construction process and can be a solution for temporary buildings.
