It could be worse
Last weekend, I wrote to parents. I have to tell them sth ,though it’s hard for them to accept what I am going to say.
Dear Mom and Dad,
I miss you so much. Before you read this letter, you’d better sit tight. I am not sure you are happy about what I am going to say. But I have to tell you the truth.
I’m sorry I haven’t come back home since last Spring Festival. And I didn’t call you as freauently as I should have. Because I am busy with sth. 2 month ago, one midnight, someone shouted“run, run away, theHouse? is catching fire……h(huán)elp! help!”I woke up suddenly from my dream.Gosh,I just wanted to? go downstairs. Unfortunately, my legs were trembling, I even can’t feelmy legs.Suddenly,I fell down from the stairs.Then, I didn’t know anything.
When I woke up the next day, I found myself lying on the bed in the hospital. Just then, a smiling man was coming to me with a bunch of flowers in his hands.Everything is so familiar, just as what often happens in the Korean drama, instead,the leading actorswas not a歐巴 with long legs. Actually He is DASHU,? short legs, much older than me.Obviously, my daydream that I will encounter my Mr Right in a romantic way is broken.
Mama,I didn’t tell you the accident in case you were worried about me. The following days, this DASHU, my neighbour, a divorced man, took really good care of me. He told jokes to me .He knew I am a vegetarian , so he cooked different vagan dishes .He worked as a delivery? man for JINGDONG, and he is very busy. But he still asked for a leave about a week to look after me. After he returned to work ,his 10-year–daughter , NIUNIU took the role to accompany me. NIUNIU is very cute and behave well. I am not sure I was as good as her when I was 10 years old. I love this lovely girl and we got along really well.
When I am writing to you ,I suffer? the damn headache ,which is the leftover of that accident. I have just separated from them for one week. but one thing I am very sure I miss them. I know how much you wanna me to get married ,and how eagerly you expect a grandson. So now I have made the biggest decision in my life: I am going to marry this guy? before someone find I am pregnant. So, mom and Dad, I hope you give the best wishes to us ,though this divorced man is not well educated , rich let alone excellent. I am sure I love how I am when I am with him. So just open you mind to welcome my husband and my upcoming baby.
I am pregnant and I am going to marry a divorced man. I assume you have never thought my life could be that bad ,right?
Well , the truth is … My apartment hasn’t caught fire, of course, I haven’t fallen from the stairs. I have not suffered a headache or broken legs, actually I Certainly, I haven’t encountered a divorced Dashu with a 10-year-old daughter to save and take care of me, let alone I am pregnant.The truth is I am in good health and? I don’t have a boyfriend. I am working hard to support me and studying diligently for my master degree, and I participated in TMC every week and I have a lot of friends who have a lot in common with me. I really enjoy my single life ,I am the queen in my life.
Mom and Dad , you pushed me to find a boyfriend and get married .I quarreled with you.Now, I want to say sorry and? I understand your love. But I have to say life could be 100 times worse than we can imagine. I am in good heath, and I am enjoying my present life. Don’t you think it’s not a big deal that I don’t have a boyfriend. Everyday is a gift? That is why we call it present, just enjoy the present moment. love you.
