跟讀內(nèi)容：今天跟讀的是C11 Test3 Par2的第11 句到第20句

跟讀時(shí)間：早上08:30-10:00分

跟讀心得日記：

1、It's sometimes said that bus fares are too high, but in relation to average incomes, fares are not much higher than they were 50 years ago.（C11 Test3 Par2第11句）

Sometimes最經(jīng)?？吹降氖欠旁诰涫谆蛘呔湮玻@個(gè)放在一個(gè)句子的中間，還是很不適應(yīng)。而且以前也很少使用it's sometimes said that ...這樣的結(jié)構(gòu)，所以跟讀時(shí)，很不適應(yīng)。不過(guò)多讀幾遍，也順暢了。

in relation to 一般表示與。。。相關(guān)，與。。。的關(guān)系，有時(shí)也可以表示與。。。相比，不過(guò)這個(gè)地方我覺(jué)得還是直接用comparing with/to average incomes, 好像更自然一點(diǎn)。

2、The centre was recently closed to traffic on a trial basis, making it much safer for pedestrians.（C11 Test3 Par2第14句）

On a trial basis, 表示是在試驗(yàn)階段或試行階段。

3、And although the council‘s attempts to have a bypass constructed have failed, we haven't given up hope of persuading the government to change its mind.（C11 Test3 Par2第17句）

bypass是繞城路，就是讓快車(chē)或者大型車(chē)輛繞開(kāi)市區(qū)的道路，在英式英語(yǔ)當(dāng)中還有ring road的說(shuō)法，在美式英語(yǔ)當(dāng)中，經(jīng)常用beltway。
