When we join a negotiation or even a debate, the first thing we do is to thank for the participation of the other party. This is not a high-sounding or conventional gesture or ceremony, but to celebrate that the two parties still share some consensus. In the absence of any consensus, even the fiercest debate will be superfluous, and the remaining solutions is unconcern or war!
