Wall Street

The story happened at 1980s. A young man, Bud, who was bored about low salary each month, started his career in Wall Street. As a stockbroker what he did everyday was calling clients to buy stocks. And he even cannot afford his own living, owe thousands of dollars from dad.

Who you are decides what you do, and what you do becomes who you are.

He joined Gekko's group with the cost of trading on illegal inside information. Success comes suddenly. He achieved a lot of wealth, got a beautiful girlfriend, independent office in company. With Gekko's guidance, he took control of a series of rules to gain wealth in illegal ways, and of course, how to hide it.

However, it turned out that Gekko is a greedy and immoral man. Money is his religion, which means he just regards people as tools. And Bud realized it. In the end, Bud revenged and surrender himself to justice.? What he lost is money and financial career. What he got is recognizing what really matters in life.

I would regard the story has a good ending. Bud suffered a great failure, he lost money and woman. When he lost, he would find he never had them. It is where life is wonderful. The moment you lost everything, you will find what really matters. Those people just made use of you will leave, those people who really cares you will stay. Then you started to relearn the world and yourself. When you were at the bottom, everything can only go better :)? Bud left a money-oriented man and a material woman, and finally become himself.
