Today is the first Monday in this Chinese New Year.

Yesterday I had lunch with my relatives in a restaurant. We separated ourselves into two groups. Old people were in a group and young people were in another group. I belonged to the young group. It seemed like I was not old enough. I hadn't seen some of them for many years. The children have changed much more. I even couldn't recognize a few of them.

We ate separately. In the end I found an interesting thing that the old ones ate much more than the young ones. Why did it happen? I thought for a while and got an explanation. Because they had lived in the years of starving. The fear of starving deeply hidden in their mind. So they always try their best to gain foods spontaneously. For us young people, we are happier than them because we live in the era which is full of foods and other resources. We should cherish our happy lifes and I hope the starving would never come back again.
