On Wednesday evening, we went to the Town Hall.
It was the last day of the year and a large crowd of people had gathered under the Town Hall clock.
It would strike twelve in twenty minutes' time.
Fifteen minutes passed and then, at five to twelve, the clock stopped.
The big minute hand did not move.
We waited and waited, but nothing happened.
Suddenly someone shouted, 'It's two minutes past twelve!
The clock has stopped!' I looked at my watch. It was true.
The big clock refused to welcome the New Year.
At that moment everybody began to laugh and sing.

練習(xí)感悟：
真想說晚上練習(xí)一點都不在狀態(tài)，感覺特別累（因為白天上整天的班熬的太狠了）本來想著今天早上起來早點練習(xí)，結(jié)果發(fā)現(xiàn)會影響室友就猶豫了最后計劃也泡湯了！感覺自己還是太懶！
在回來的路上還想怎么解決今天的朗讀其實是怕自己放棄，還好我堅持了一下。
