生活中我們常常會(huì)用到“I don't know”（我不知道）這個(gè)表達(dá)，可總這樣說似乎讓生活少了點(diǎn)情趣，用其他的表達(dá)來表示相同的意思會(huì)讓你的話更加有趣和自然。
1. Dunno
這個(gè)詞為非正式用語，一般在口語中使用，孩子們不想回答父母的問題時(shí)會(huì)經(jīng)常用到這個(gè)詞。
e.g.? When do you have to submit this essay？
“你什么時(shí)候要交論文？”
Dunno. I can’t remember.
“不知道，不記得了?！?/p>
2.? I have no idea/I haven’t a clue/I haven’t the faintest idea
這些表達(dá)通常用在你沒有任何關(guān)于這個(gè)問題的信息，無法猜到答案的時(shí)候。
e.g.1??What time does the film start？
“電影什么時(shí)候開始？”
I have no idea. Why don’t you call the cinema？
“不清楚，你為什么不打電話問電影院呢？”
e.g.2??Would you by any chance know where St James’s Street is？’
“你知道圣詹姆斯大街在哪兒?jiǎn)幔俊?/p>
I haven’t a clue. Sorry.
“不好意思，不太清楚?！?/p>
e.g.3??Could somebody please explain how this happened？
“有沒有人能解釋一下這是怎么回事？”
I haven’t the faintest idea.
“我也不知道?！?/p>
3.? How should I know？/Don’t ask me/Search me
當(dāng)你不知道問題的答案，又很反感別人問你時(shí)，可以這么說。
e.g.1? Who left this mess on the table？’
“誰把桌子弄得一團(tuán)亂？”
How should I know？I’ve only just come home.
“我怎么知道，我才剛到家。”
e.g.2???What time did she say she was catching her train？’ ‘Don’t ask me. I’m always the last to know.
“她什么時(shí)候說她在趕火車來著？” “別問我，我總是最后一個(gè)知道的。”
e.g.3?? Why didn’t he ask you for the keys？
“為什么他不問你要鑰匙呢？”
Search me. I’m not a mind reader.
“不知道，我又不會(huì)讀心術(shù)?！?/p>
4. ?Who knows？/It’s anyone’s guess
當(dāng)你不知道問題的答案，而且其他人也不可能知道的時(shí)候，就可以用這兩句。
e.g.1? Will they ever find the missing aircraft？
“他們會(huì)找到失蹤的飛機(jī)嗎？”
Who knows？The search been going on for such a long time now.
“誰知道呢？搜尋工作已經(jīng)進(jìn)行了這么長時(shí)間了?！?/p>
e.g.2? How the situation will develop from here is anyone’s guess.
“誰都不知道事態(tài)會(huì)如何發(fā)展?！?/p>
5.? ?Your guess is as good as mine
如果你和提問題的人一樣不知道問題的答案，你就可以這樣說。
e.g.? Do you think we will be able to book the restaurant for Friday？
“你覺得我們能在周五預(yù)定到這家餐廳嗎？”
Your guess is as good as mine.
“我和你一樣不知道?！?/p>
