In my esteem, those compound talents , keeping abreast with the advancing society are needed in the society. Therefore, the point of specializing in one particular field seems reasonable and irreproachable, especially for making one’s living. But I take delight in survival of the fittest, that is to say: those who possess broad knowledge outweighs that of having specialization.
