“Doggy bag”真的不是“狗袋”！真正的意思你一定想不到！
不知道大家的飯量如何呢？上周我和一個飯量很小的朋友一起吃飯，當(dāng)時我們都很餓，所以點了好多東西，但是吃到一半，我們就深刻地意識到，菜點得太多了，于是我的朋友說，我們需要和服務(wù)員要一些doggy bag。
等等，吃飯吃得好好的，怎么扯到狗狗了？你是想要一個“狗袋”嗎？
doggy bag is a paper or plastic bag or box given a restaurant customer to take home leftovers ，就是我們常說的打包袋。
那這個表達(dá)跟“狗”有什么關(guān)系呢？Originally. American people tell the waiter that they bring the leftovers back home for their pets, especially dog. 但是呢，這些帶回家的東西并不一定都是給狗狗吃的。所以啊，美國人其實也有面子思想，不想讓別人知道自己吃剩菜。

But now, take leftovers back home is pretty much common.On the contrary, it is weird if you don’t do that.這個詞就這么存留下來了。
但是，美國人真的用doggy bag來表達(dá)打包嗎？答案是 no 。
I recently did a survey about that, 90% American people told me that they can understand what the doggy bag is, it is just like a regional dialect, but they don’t actually use it.
