wannabe unrivalled [?n?ra?v?ld] 指“無與倫比的，無雙的”(better or greater than any other)。比如《經(jīng)濟學(xué)人》一篇寫于騰訊20周年的文章曾提到：It has rightly been nervous about expanding advertising within WeChat, though the service sees unrivalled Chinese mobile traffic of over 1bn monthly active users. 盡管微信在中國擁有超過 10億月活躍用戶，移動訪問流量無與倫比，但騰訊對于在微信平臺上擴展廣告一直有所顧慮——這是對的。近義詞還有unparalleled, peerless, incomparable, matchless等等。

equate fall from grace 這里的fall既可作動詞也可作名詞，fall from grace指因為做了錯事或者不道德的事“受冷落；失去信任，失去尊重”(If someone falls from grace, they suddenly stop being successful or popular)。比如《紐約時報》一篇關(guān)于范冰冰的文章有這樣一句話：Ms. Fan, who turns 37 on Sunday, has dropped out of public view for more than three months — the victim of a sudden and precipitous fall from grace. 本周日即將滿37歲的范冰冰已從公眾視野中消失三個多月，名聲驟然大跌。
touch除了表示“觸摸”，還可表示“達(dá)到”某一水平，相當(dāng)于reach sth，比如◇The speedometer was touching 90. 速度表顯示時速達(dá) 90 英里。[熟詞僻義]
the rush for the exits字面義是“沖向出口”，在這里指“拋售”。近義詞還有dump. sell off。

basher 來源于動詞bash，bash本義是“猛擊，猛撞”，引申為“猛烈批評，嚴(yán)厲批評”(to criticize someone or something very strongly)。basher指“抨擊…的人”。比如《經(jīng)濟學(xué)人》一篇關(guān)于青少年沉迷手機的文章有這樣一句話：In America—though, phone-bashers should note, not in the rich world as a whole—suicides of young people are up. 在美國，年輕人的自殺率在上升——但抨擊手機的人要知道，富裕國家整體上并非如此。
delist為list的反義詞，指“摘牌，退市”，比如◇The shares dived and were delisted from the London market.該公司股票暴跌，被倫敦交易所摘牌。
